ABOUT US

Paimfrut is a co-operative of agricultural producers. It is placed in the heart of the plain of Catania and extends over 830 hectares. It is specialized in the production, working and packaging of several kinds of citrus such as blood oranges, Moro oranges, Navel, tarocco Valencia, Mandarins, Clementine Nova, Tacle and lemons. The citrus compartment is not the only field of exclusive competence of the company;  from June on the working process is focused on:

- GRAPES  Seedless, Victoria, Red Globe, Italia
- POMEGRANATE  Parfianka, Wonderful
- KIWI   Hayward, Golden

PAIMFRUT  was born in 2004 and since that year, its associates have always promoted a project of an ecologically sustainable company, paying attention to the whole working process. That’s why the company uses solar energy to supply power to the all structure. In this way environment is respected and, at the same time it is possible to produce more than 150.000 kilos of packaged goods per day. The quality of all products is the first priority; the agronomists follow cultivation till the ripening, using not only the traditional method but also the ones of the latest generation. Moreover, we continually submit samples of our products to lab analysis. In addition to the inspections performed on the field the company uses a tracking system that guarantees safety to every single fruit by certifications issued by the most important institutes. The company staff manages the production chain but also takes care of the relationship with the commercial partners, offering both merchandising advice and commercial strategies

Blood orange contains delicacies and history; it is the symbol of a land made up of sun, fire and sea breeze. Its scent and flavor keep the Trinacria’s atmosphere, in which Greeks and Romans cultivated it in the temples’ shadow.

Our core business is represented by citrus, but the aim is to extend the range of products. The goal to be achieved is to guide growers in the evolution and innovation of the cultivation techniques and to increase the sensivity towards the issues of respect for the environment.

The purpose is  to continue to work in the way we already do, interacting with the production to improve the quality and make it better for the market and for the specific brand too.
